‘Building Futures’ Program begins soon at Victoria University’s Werribee Campus

Learn new skills. Boost confidence. Get a job.

We can’t wait to get started at Victoria University’s Werribee Campus on Saturday 24 April, when the Building Futures: Pathways to Trades program will commence, running every other weekend for 8 weeks. The program is a series of 4 free workshops supporting women living in or near the Wyndham area into jobs and further relevant training in the trades industry.

The workshops take place at Victoria University’s state of the art facilities on the Werribee Campus, showcasing the fantastic facilities that the participants can go on to train at if they decide that they’d like to pursue a TAFE course with Victoria University. The workshops are on:

  • Saturday 24 April 2021
  • Saturday 8 May 2021
  • Saturday 22 May 2021
  • Saturday 5 June 2021.

Throughout the workshops, the participants will:

  • See a variety of roles in Trades and meet the women that occupy them
  • Develop supportive relationships with peers and a mentor
  • Be connected to training and job opportunities within the trade industry.
